Going for Frozen

2/13/2011

Comments

In today's fast paced world, sometimes it is more convenient to head for a frozen meal. Be sure to, however, make the right choices if that time comes. Frozen entrees can prove to be easy meals, but be aware of the nutrition labels. Choose entrees with less than 10 grams of fat and 300 calories. Also make an effort to choose those with a low sodium content--try to choose a meal with less than 600 milligrams of sodium. Maximize the nutritional value of frozen meals by adding fresh salad, vegetables, skim milk or natural juices.
