New Years Eve is fast approaching! It will definitely be a night of Food, Fun and Beverage. New Years is a traditional time to indulge in food and drink. Alcohol contributes to obesity due to the high calorie content, because it reduces the body's ability to burn fat and it stimulates hunger. Try to alternate your drinks with some water. The water will keep you hydrated and slow the rate of drinking. Keep in mind that it is recommended that women drink no more than 1 drink a day and men drink no more than 2 drinks a day.
